Fun
The best thing about advocating your point of view is that you make liberals mad! What can be more fun than that? We stride to come up with creative and fun ways to get our point across. From support our troops day to an affirmative action bake sale, our activities are always fun and effective.
"Positions of Leadership"
Positions of leadership are a must of anyone applying to graduate or professional school. Holding positions of leadership exhibits hard work, dedication, responsibility, and intellectual capacity. The operations of the ACSU are very diverse, and therefore, opportunities are abundant. Active members of the ACSU are rewarded with such positions and responsibilities.

Community Service
As conservatives, we want to live in a good, decent, moral, and vibrant community. The ACSU provides many opportunities for students to help their community through service. This not only endows students with a sense of fulfillment, but also illustrates the importance of the policies we advocate through first hand experience.
Relevant Experience
Being an active member in the ACSU means that students will gain relevant experience towards their future jobs. Writing articles for our newspaper, selling advertising, coordinating events, raising money, planning community service, and getting people to attend your events, are among the many experiences gained through our club. This experience will serve as a learning process in order to build better conservative leaders and activists in our community.

Political Training
Through our sponsor, The Leadership Institute, we are able to empower students with the knowledge and resources needed in order to accomplish their political goals. Students could attend seminars in D.C. for little or no cost. These seminars are on various topics, which include campaign management, candidate preparation, media management, and fund raising. The Leadership Institute will also place interested students in campaigns and internships in D.C.
If professional politics is not of interest to you, the Leadership Institute offers various seminars on campus politics. These seminars include student elections, student publications, and fund raising. The skills learned in these workshops will empower conservative students in order to advance their worthy agenda.
